1. Complete enrollment and in-take forms. Sharing your medical and family history, your daily challenges and goals, will enable Ilant to create a plan personalized for you.

2. Meet with your Peer Navigator. Our Peer Navigators have all lived obesity experience and can provide you ongoing support throughout your journey.

3. Meet with your clinical team and start treatment. This includes board-certified obesity medicine physicians, and licensed specialists in nutrition and mental health.

4. Regular engagement through online portal check-ins and care team visits. In between visits, you'll have access to Peer Navigators, a nurse line, and in-app resources.

FAQs

What does Ilant's program include?

Regular visits with your clinical team, peer navigator and access to Ilant's online portal with tracking tools and educational content. Any labs ordered, medications prescribed, or surgical procedures referred are not included in Ilant's program but are subject to your health plan coverage and co-pays.

What type of treatments does Ilant recommend?

Your obesity medicine board-certified doctor will meet with you to determine the best course of treatment based on your medical history, labs, history of weight loss, and other relevant factors. Ilant offers three treatment programs: i) Intensive Behavioral Therapy (IBT) which is a lifestyle program focused on nutritional and behavioral changes, ii) Pharmacotherapy (medications), and iii) Bariatric surgery.

Who is eligible to participate?

In order to participate in Ilant's program, you must be 18+ and with a BMI of 27 or greater. You must be an employee or dependent covered by Papa's health plans.

What medications do Ilant doctors prescribe?

If you and your Ilant  doctor decide to pursue anti-obesity medication as a treatment, you may be prescribed medications such as Wegovy, Zepbound, Qsymia, and Contrave (among others). Ilant members are not guaranteed a prescription to medication unless it is determined a necessary part of their treatment plan.
